HAIM is a regional institute founded in 2024 that combines research, training, public awareness and policy engagement to improve how migration, displacement and human mobility are understood and governed across the Horn of Africa. HAIM advances research, professional learning and public dialogue on migration, displacement and human mobility across the Horn of Africa. It supports evidence-based policy, safer migration decisions and sustainable regional development through research, education, awareness and partnership dedicated to shaping global discourse on mobility and social transformation.
